Responsibilities include:

Product Marketing

  • Develop business plans and product positioning in the market place
  • Oversee market research, monitor competitive activity and identify customer needs
  • Develop marketing plans for all assigned products and coordinate market strategy across product area

Business Development

  • Develop and maintain external relationships with potential partners
  • Analysis of potential partnership, revenue, in-kind value (marketing, finance, advertising, legal)
  • Develop market and/or product line business plans and strategic marketing programs to support sales in designated market segments

Strategic Planning

  • Develop long range plans to achieve objectives for growth and profitability
  • Analyze market data to identify trends/opportunities, and develop strategic direction from market information
  • May get involved in projects related to mergers and acquisitions

Qualifications:

Education/Degrees: MBA with an emphasis in Marketing and/or e-Commerce. Undergraduate education in marketing, finance, economics, information systems, computer science, mathematics, or engineering.

Valued skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously; some knowledge of assigned product(s), company functions, marketing and/or service policies and procedures. Ability to grasp technical concepts.
